Mother's Day at La Casa Roman

So Maxine and i got back from Urbana on Saturday afternoon with no plans for Mother's Day. On another note i feel like blowing in the wind has been the theme for the last week...or my life. Anyway, long story short, i came up with the idea of a cosmo night with mom. Why? mostly because i could. So while other more conventional homes might have flowers and a card waiting for their mom in the morning and perhaps a nice dinner planned at a swank restaurant, all set to a soundtrack of telling their mom what a special woman she is, Maxine and I went to Jewel and loaded up on liquor, chips and jalapeño poppers then sat around in our basement watching 27 dresses. This week has been a trip.
